Tearful Morning :(

Hi everyone I've been M.I.A. for the last few days as my family were here but they went home this morning so its been a very tearful time for us. But we have had a wonderful time while they were here, we went to Beamish Museum and to Cragside in Northumberland and while the parents sneaked off to do some last minute shopping for their hols in three days time, LOL me and DH took the kids into Saltburn with 'his lordship', we had a nice walk along the beach then off for fish and chips and a nice ice cream. Then last night we all went to my eldest brother's where all the family congregated for a lovely meal together. Then this Thursday I'm meeting up with ScrappyMo!! (Maureen) all the way from Canada and Sue P, who I talked to last night on the phone and oh boy we giggled hahahaha I can't wait!!! Anyway I went into my craft room when they left this morning and coloured this image and used up some more snippets of paper, I haven't put a sentiment on yet its one for my box,  hope everyone is well and lots of huggles and TFL will visit all your wonderful blogs later xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Sue, your card is very beautiful, such a sweet image coloured so pretty in the blues. Love the bow and the glitter around the edges of the layers. Sounds like you had a great time with family. Cheers, Shirleyx

Fabulous card Sue! She does look a little bit forlorn but Mo and Sue will be with you soon - that'll liven you up for sure! Please give them hugs from 'Miss' :)

Soooo envious of you - I used to live in Northumberland and regularly visited both Cragside and Beamish. Both great days out.

Hugs, Di xx

Hi Sue, such a lovely image and fabulously coloured! I still have my family for a few days yet but it's always sad when family leave isn't it? Anyway you'll soon make up for it with Sue P and Maureen. Give them a big hug from me - and one for yourself if you can manage being a contortionist! Lol! Love and hugs from Christine xx

Hi Sue,
me wonderful little blogging matey. Superb card yet again. I love that image it is so great and beautifully coloured in too. What a wonderful blue is this your blue period or are you just copying how you feel after your family has gone home.
So glad you had a fab time with them. I know what you mean when they go home the house seems so empty for a day or so.
Still you've got Sue P and Maureen to look forward to this weekend. I bet you stomach will ache with all the laughter after the weekend.
Have a wonderful crafty evening.
Lots of crafty love. Fairy Godmother Jenny L. PS sloppy kisses and hugs for Ollie. xxxxxx hug hug hug hug

I lurve how you are using your little snippets matey! Great design and such a gorgeous image. I would still be colouring it in - you really are a dab hand with your markers!

Oooer it's nearly time - I am so chuffed!!! I have to fetch my glasses tomorrow (Wed) so I should be able to see you - let's just hope they have arrived! I will be careful with me appendages - just in case.

Lurve and hugs matey - and a real big sloppy one to Ollie babe!

Oh @Sue...it is so sad to say goodbye to family...I will be in bite when we leave England. Even though I have said goodbye to my cousins and Aunty, I still have to bid adieu to DH's cousins and Aunty. It is so hard, isn't it?

Well you must have been inspired as you have made a beautiful card! The image is so pretty and love the colours!

Getting really excited now.
Today we had a quiet day catching up on some laundry and then took a picnic lunch out to the Filey Brig where we had previously spread half of Joan's ashes. She was my MIL and had spent her life with her heart in england and in Canada, so it seemed fitting to ensure she lived on in our memories that way.

Love this little waif, that you colored so beautifully in blues. The Distressed gingham dp & your trims just fit in so perfectly with her look. Great card, lots of detail to enjoy. Lucky you to get to meet up with our Mo, and you girls have fun. I can sympathesize with you on the saying 'goodbye' that you wrote about..I don't handle that well at all! TFS the pretty card.
