Christmas Club Card Challenge

Hi everyone.. firstly I must apologise to my fellow teamies on our friendly Christmas Club Challenge but didn't get this finished and I've had a migraine that I couldn't shift so crafting wasn't on the agenda :(( Anyway the challenge was chosen by our lovely Karen B and the theme was poinsettias..so I used this lovely backing paper I have and added a double bow some blobs and a sentiment. Sorry it was rushed and possibly should have waited till my head was a  bit clearer because I'm not keen on it  at all..but I didn't want to let the girls down..take care everyone and I'll be back when I feel up to it..TFL and hugglesssssssssss Sue xxxxxx

Sue, so sorry to hear about your migraine, and hope it is much better as I'm getting around to comment. Your card is just lovely as it is! I always love looking for your pearl signature, and you had plenty of opportunity here, adding in the stamens on the flowers. How you keep those pearls done so evenly, and with a headache too...amazing! The paper is very pretty, and worked great for the challenge theme, and your bows are just a beautiful finishing touch. TFS & Hugs

Hope you are feeling better Sue. Migraines leave you so washed out for quite some time so take it easy dear friend! That paper is so lush that it really doesn't need anything more. Your bows just add the finishing touch. Love and hugs Christine xx

So sorry to hear that you had a migraine Sue, they are no fun and yes, I'm speaking from experience! I don't get them now-rarely, but had them from 8 years old until late 40's. Nope, no fun! I love your poinsettia card! That paper does the work for you!! Love the double bow and your sentiment works so well with the paper. Love your signature pearls going around the card and sentiment too! Hope you are feeling better!! Hugs

I hate those migraines they really wipe a person out. This is gorgeous Sue, you are, as usual, being a tad too hard on yourself. Hope it eases soon and you are doing well, sorry I've not been able to visit much recently - just having a rougher than usual time right now. I hope you and your DH are well huni Karen x

Sorry I'm late in commenting. Your card is super for Karen's poinsettia challenge for CCC. (Don't forget you could also enter this for my CHNC challenge extra for May - would love to see it there too) x

Oh you poor thing! Hope you're feeling better now. Your card is GORGEOUS! The poinsettias are looking so lush. And guess what... I tried my hand at blobbing on my card too. Still can get it perfect and evenly spaced as yours. The double bow is a great touch.
