Childhood Fun

Hi everyone just a quick post today I'm trying to keep up with my blogging as much as I can but 'bugs' and every kind of germ aren't helping at all!!! This image reminds me of my brother and myself when we were younger lol he was older than me so always pulled the cart or the sledge!!! and looked after his little sis 😉 The boy's got groomed yesterday and look so lovely they both have birthday's next month I can't believe Woody will be 3 !! and of course our old man will be 10 bless him he's adorable. Well hospital visit's next week Moi is going for camera's up and down on my personage!!! not looking forward to that at all and then 'the hubster' is have the first of his iron fusions on Wednesday ohhhhhhhh and I nearly forgot it's his birthday on Monday..what a way to spend it with me and a couple of delightful camera's LOL ...Anyhoooooo I will be back as soon as I'm up and running ....lots of hugglesssssssss xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

'Add A Tag' with Sweet Stampin Challenge

It's time for our weekly challenge over at Sweet Stampin (which is just for fun!) and the theme this week is 'Add A Tag' I haven't been too good still feel a bit sluggish after my tummy bug so nice and quick post this morning. I have used a Penny Black wooden stamp I've had for years and still trying to use those bits of paper up LOL. Windy Wednesday!

Hi everyone ..well I can't believe the horrible bitter wind we have today it doesn't seem to be getting any milder whatsoever! It's freezing out there and we had a sprinkle of snow to go with it too. I had a wonderful time with my friend last Friday we talked for hours LOL and we were almost the last one's out of the tea shop!!! we laughed so much it's a wonder we didn't get put out hahaha but it was so lovely to see her and we won't be leaving it that long again! and then things went a bit downhill after that I have been making my permanent residency in the bathroom!!! since the early hours of Saturday and fingers crossed I am at least almost better today because I've managed to keep some toast down and in!!! The title of my post 'Windy Wednesday' is very apt I can tell you jeezzzzz ....Well I have used another Sassy Cheryl image for my card and lots of bits of paper from my leftover box..I don't think I'll ever come to the end of it but at least it's not going to waste. I did make Paul a nice card for Valentine's day but I forgot to take a photo of it. It's A 'Love' Thing

Hi everyone! and I would just like to thank you all for all your lovely comments on my new hair do! LOL I'm slowly getting used to it..not shouting out as I walk passed a mirror and remember it's me! My card today is another Sassy Cheryl image which I really love and seeing as though Valentine's day is almost upon us I thought I would put it up. Hmmm pancake Tuesday next week....not sure if I'm allowed but might have just one for a treat! I need to get this old waistline into trim I wouldn't care I walk miles with the 'boys' but I reckon it's what fuel you put in hahahaha!
Well it's our crafty club with the ladies tomorrow I haven't been for a few weeks because of my 'tennis elbow' but I've been doing my physio exercises and it seems to have improved a lot but I certainly won't be crocheting for a while.

Using Bits Of Paper!

Hi all you wonderful peeps! I hope everyone is okay and not suffering with any of those horrible nasty bugs that are going around...the snow didn't last long here but it's still bitterly cold and I don't think the heating has been off at all.
I'm looking forward to tomorrow I am meeting a very dear friend that I went to grammar school with we met on our first day there..she was my chief bridesmaid and I was hers ..and she was my maid of honour when I got married to Paul and we had children within month's of each other...but we lost touch her husband's job moved them around a lot..but she contacted my brother on face book and asked him if he knew me!!! so a two hour phone call later LOL and we are going out for lunch and I really can't wait I'm so excited!!!
Ohhh and last Tuesday I went to get the old barnet done the grey's needed covering and it wanted a tidy up...so I said to my hairdresser could I have a few copper highlights in just to brighten it up...well not sure if she heard me well I'm pretty SURE she didn't because she put my blonde highlights in and then flooded it with the copper...well didn't see it till it had been washed and didn't have my glasses on but through my squinting I knew it just wasn't the same LOL  So I'm sat saying ermmmm is my hair not my usual colour??? she said you wanted copper didn't you??? with your blonde highlights as well??? I said NOOOOOOOO I wanted some copper highlights!!!  Anyway after the initial shock and she began to dry it and Paul was sat saying Oh wow Sue I love that colour it really suits you and it's the best colour I have ever seen on you..(me thinking he's taking pity on me!) So he sends a pic to my daughter and she loves it as well...oh and I had a fringe put in haven't had one of those since I was about 7 years old and it loosely curled it began to look ok on me hahahaha but I still have reservations. I sent Mrs P a pic and she said it's gawjussss and it makes me look younger..so for now I'm staying with it. I just get a shock when I walk passed a mirror!!!!
Okay sorry for rabbiting on! my card is an LOTV image that I coloured (need more practise) and bits of paper out of my box I've promised myself I'm going to use up.

Snow???? Not Again!

Oh my the snow came back today! it didn't lay much thank goodness but it's so cold out there I was glad to get back indoors!...I ventured out to get the old barnet done (hubster loves the fringe..but I haven't got used to it yet LOL) and then the boys went out for a VERY quick run about the field ..at least the ground was frozen so no mud today thank goodness...a lovely rub down back indoors and then they settled with a bone for hours. Seeing as though February is upon us and all the mushy stuff happens on the 14th I thought I would make this using a cute Sassy Cheryl image. I love her images I think they are so cute. My lower arm and elbow seem to be a lot better with the exercises the physio gave me..I really don't want an injection so here's hoping it goes altogether.
