'Dads' Birthday
Hi everyone and thanks so much for the lovely comments on my last card...it's 'the hubster's' birthday today ..he's 65! and this is the card the 'boys' made for him LOL. He said he can't remember the last time he had a pint bless him. He started with a bad cold on Saturday which ended up as a chest infection which he kindly shared with me..so both on antibiotics and my ribs feel as if I've been run over by a truck!!! We were hoping to take him out for a meal but that was cancelled until we are both feeling better. The weather has been glorious for the past couple of days..I've got daffodils..snowdrops and crocus all out..can't believe this time last year we had 'the beast from the East'... Still haven't heard about Paul's operation but it would have been put back with him having the infection...well I'm off to blow the old hooter for the hundredth time!!! Take care and lots of huggles Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxx

The 'hubster' has been through a barrage of test's with the specialists..so it's just a matter of waiting now..he doesn't say much bless him but I know he's worried to death. I'm a total wreck but need to stay calm etc ...anyhooo hope you are all well and lots of hugglesssssss Sue xxxxxxxxxx

Chinese New Year with Sweet Stampin Challenge
Hi everyone and I'm sorry I don't get to blog as often as I would like but the hubster has been in and out of hospital since Christmas and I haven't had a lot of time to myself at all and they are deciding whether to fit him with a LVAD pump which sits next to the left ventricle in the heart and pumps blood through the aorta and thus through the body with oxygenated blood and it has external leads worn outside the body which are attached to a battery pack. This will help him while he is waiting for a heart transplant. So I'm finding it very hard not to fall to pieces because everything is a risk but the 'brave' face has to be worn at all times and bless him he is a total trooper. Anyway's the theme this week for our 'just for fun' challenge at Sweet Stampin is 'Chinese New Year' which this year..is the year of the Pig. So I have used this fun image from Mo Manning and I love colouring it. So come on over and join in the fun and see what all the other teamies have created!
