Rain Rain Go Away!!!

Well isn't this weather awful:( so many poor people having their homes flooded and for some more than once. I went to take Ollie for a walk today in the woods lol turned the corner in the car and road was blocked off by a barrier because of flooding and it's the only way out of our road so off I reversed back and went home, so he's not impressed with it whatsoever.
I brought all my crafting stuff into my craft room today NOT because it's finished I would hasten to add!! but because I desperately needed to do some work for the design team splodgy blog, and I did this card as well, not impressed with it at all but thought I would put it up because I haven't done anything else basically LOL
I'm thinking of leaving the floor of my craft room even though I have bought the wood flooring because I don't think the back will take much more so I'm going to give it a long rest. Couple of shelves to go up, storage boxes this weekend, and thats it for now. I'm sure Rome didn't take this long(that bit was for you Sue!!) lol

Well off to make a cuppa and watch corrie see you lovely peeps later TFL huggles xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

It might be taking a long time but it will b worth it in the end Sue, I'm sure. Such a sweet little image. I don't like watching the news now because there is so much tragedy with all this flooding! Luckily we live on a hill outside the village because the next village to us, a couple of miles away, was totally cut off! HAve a good day. Christine x

Hi Sue,
I know you want your craft room finished, but you will get there eventually. As they say Rome wasn't built in a day.
Wonderful image on the card, and I like the design.
I do feel for those poor peeps that have been flooded, and all just before Christmas too.
Have a wonderful crafty day.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Hi Sue,
I like the shape of the topper on your card, and the image is so cute. It does make you feel for all those poor folk who are in flood areas, especially when we are comparatively safe. I can't wait to get crafting but have been too busy volunteering in school again this week, and then two of my grandchildren have come down with that stomach bug, and as their mum has a broken foot and we all live together it is down to me, never mind.

Thanks Sue - I love this card (especially as I love the image sooooooooooo much). The colours are really warm and rich and such a great layout. You take care with the flooring - leave it until after Christmas, it would be better to do it after I've finished the muriel on the ceiling - roflmao!!!
