Quiet Tuesday

Hi all you wonderful peeps hope everyone is okay and thanks for taking the time to comment on my blog:)  It's been a long night DH was in a lot of pain and couldn't sleep so me and his lordship kept him company. So I've decided I'm doing as little as possible today and re-charging the very old batteries! I decided to go and do a little bit of crafting and I honestly think I've lost my marbles (not that I had any to begin with!!) I can hear Jenny L and Sue P laughing as I type LOL. I coloured this wonderful Mo Manning digi image but then I tried to get rid of lots of bits of paper so I decided to weave them in and out and make a backing piece and a large flower but I think its too much so I might have a play with it later. I'm off to have a nice relaxing walk with Ollie TFL and lots of huggles xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hello Sue, beautiful card and as always lovely colouring. Hopefully your DH is feeling better by now. Lack of sleep is awful, I suffer terribly from it. Hugs Rita xxx

You just need to take the flower off huni. I love your weaved background and your image is beautifully coloured. Cricky must be something in the air right now both me and DH had real issues sleeping overnight - he couldn't get to sleep and I kept waking up every hour or so needing to move! I hope you both get some sleep tonight Karen x

Hi Sue,
me lovely little blogging matey. Yes your right I was giggling. lol.
So sorry to hear hubby had a bad night in pain. Here's hoping tonight is better for him.
I too didn't sleep too well last night but that's nothing new for you or me.
The old RLS really plagued me last night, just because I decided to have a cup of tea at 10pm. Tea or coffee is a definite no ,no, for me after 5pm.
Now at long last to your card. What a fab image wonderfully coloured too.
Love that paper weaving. This is quite funny as I was just thinking of this
the other day, and then today we both used Mo images.Spooky hey.lol.
Have a wonderful crafty Wednesday.
Lots of crafty love. Fairy Godmother Jenny L.

Hi again matey - just hoping that Paul is feeling loads better by now. Have you seen Maureen yet!! Not heard about any riots over in S...... so I guess you have been good! lol. I like your card and don't think the flower is OTT at all - in fact the pic looks like me when I've had some exciting news - you know I wear those bloomers - guffawing now!

I shall have to have a go at weaving my little strips together, you have great ideas.

Big hugs to you both and a sloppy one for Ollie babe!

Sue Pxxx

PS Fairy Whiplash (aka Jenny - was going to make me an anniversary cake if she had known when it was! Have we heard this before matey???

This paper weaving looks great! Brilliant idea to use up snippets. I scrapbook so always have never ending filing cabinet drawers of snippets! But some are bits of 12 x 12 paper so this technique would be great for them!

It is around 8:30 am and my cousin has just knocked on the office door to let me know it is my turn for the shower! We are in Whitehaven Cumbria and have been touring each day through the lake district. Yesterday we saw Grasmere and went over the top of the mountains and came down a really narrow road...there was a slate factory perched on the side of the cliffs! Such beautiful stone!
