What A Perfect Day!

Well the Three Crafterteer's finally met up yesterday!!! and what a fun day it was. Maureen (ScrappyMo) and Sue P at the front of the top pic and moi at the back!! and then Sue P's lovely hubby Graham with us on the bottom one. Paul my DH was taking the pics but I do believe he's on Graham's camera somewhere so he will probably turn up on Sue P's blog hahahaha. It was a scorcher in Scarborough we couldn't have asked for better weather. But we did giggle especially when we went to Winking Willy's for our lunch LOL and Sue P had haddock and chips then came out with the statement I'm not keen on cod its too FISHY!! well I almost choked!!! then we went for a stroll and had some yummy ice cream. Of course the men were oblivious to all the crafting talk going on I'm sure they had heard it all before. But I have to say that me and Paul had a really wonderful day and I was really sad when it had to end :( you never think that you will meet your friends from blogging land and they are the same in real life as they are on their blogs and I will cherish yesterday and all the memories. Of course we have plans in the pipeline for meeting up again !!! and hopefully we can drag some of our other blog pals along with us. Thank you Maureen and Sue and dear Graham for an absolutely wonderful day filled with chatter and laughter lots and lots of hugglessssssssssssssssss Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Sue

I thought of you with such envy! I bet it was a very special day and just know you won't have wanted it to end - the day Sam and I spent with Mo was one of the best EVER and I've also had other fabulous times with Playground playmates, who I do see more often now as they aren't across the Pond.

The times Len and I spent with Kay (505whimsygirl) in New Mexico were unforgettable and I broke my heart when it was time to say our last goodbye before flying back home - it seems such a long way away :( Some friends just become immediately so very special don't they.

Am sure you'll treasure the memories - and remember that Mo does plan to come here for a longer spell. And I hope you meet up with Sue P again soon - she's a fun lady too!

Sleep well little playmate, I'm so happy for you!

Hugs, Di xx

Oh blimey - you could have photoshopped some of me chins off the piccy Matey!!! I just knew you would put the bit on about me liking fish that doesn't taste too fishy! I don't think Winking Willie's will ever be the same again! My stomach still aches from all the laughing - or is that from all the fish, chips, ice-cream and lemonade I had???

We mustn't forget about those other plans in the pipeline either. Once we have all recovered that is. It really was lovely to meet you, Maureen and Paul - the time just flew by though and I am still thinking of things that I forgot to ask both you and Maureen about.

Lots of love to you both and of course 'mwah' to Ollie babe!

Hi Sue, it sounds and looks like you had a fabulous time, I knew you would! My middle daughter Caroline is just the same about 'fishy' fish, so I know how you must have laughed, we still do when she asks, 'Does it taste fishy?' Look after yourself.

Had a quick glimpse of the pic earlier, but zipped back for Rudolph commenting, and had a moment to read the picture post. What lovely ladies you all are, and I can see you were having such a grand time. It's lovely when you get to meet fellow posters, and equally wonderful when they are the same IRL as in their posts. Bet you had a marvelous exchange of crafty ideas. Can't wait for Mo to start publishing all the great photos I'm sure she is having. TFS a bit of your fun day with the rest of us! Hugs

Wonderful photos, Sue! It's so cool that you guys were able to meet up like this! I wish we weren't all so far away from each other. Happy Very Belated WOYWW and thank you for your sweet get well wishes! I'm taking it easy and only making cards and blog visits. Mister is waiting on me hand and foot. Oh, wait, he does that everyday! I'm a lucky, lucky girl! Good luck to Paul when his replacement time comes around!! Hugs, Darnell #16
