Christmas Card Club

Hi everyone thanks for all your comments :) I can't believe how fast the weeks are going by it only seems five minutes since we were doing our last card for our Christmas Card Club. It's the turn of my lovely blogging mate Christine today and she choose a religious theme. I had a hunt around in my stash and found these stamps, another find I forgot I had, aren't us crafter's terrible LOL I'm always putting things away and finding it month's later, found this paper too, so distressed the edges with tea-dye distress ink matted it onto some mirri card, and used the bits left over to die cut some snowflakes..added my usually liquid pearls lol and that's about it. It was very simple but I kind of like the way it turned out. TFL everyone and lots of huggles xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sue and I will be going over to the lovely playground later on xxxxxxx

This stamp is so beautiful Sue and I love the backing paper. Your card looks very rich. I am just the same with misplacing stuff and finding it later. My card was supposed to be the three wise men but I didn't find my stamp until last night - it had had been put in with the wrong set of stamps. Now who could have done that? Love and hugs Christine xx

Hi Sue,
me wonderful little blogging matey.
what a superb card. Love it all, especially the colours used.
I see you have acquired another Queen title from Sue P. Well deserved may I add.
I am feeling sooooooooooo! happy you introduced me to the playground as I won the challenge this week. I am a very Happy Bunny at the mo as I really wanted the prize this week.
So thank you very much for introducing me to it as I have made lots and lots of new friends.
Have a wonderful rest of the weekend.
Lots of crafty love. Fairy Godmother Jenny L. Hugs to all.

Sue, this is beautiful. It's very difficult to find nice religious themed stamps, and this one is lovely & so serene looking. You chose a perfect way to display it on your card, and I especially loved the sparkle snowflake against that vintage paper. This reminds me of an Old World painting. So very pretty. TFS & Hugs

What a lovely card Sue, and I love how you enhanced the halo with the little pearls. I know what you mean about having so many supplies out of sight and therefore out of mind! Perhaps we should start a 'use old stash challenge'!!
