Christmas Card Challenge

Hello everyone! It's our friendly Christmas Club Challenge today, which is a great bunch of girls and we make a card each fortnight so we don't have a total rush on at the busiest time of the year, if any of you wish to join our friendly club just let me know:) Today's theme was chosen by the lovely Asha and it was to include lights - Christmas Lights (Fairy lights, candles, lanterns, lamps) so I have used this wonderful LOTV stamp with a lamp post in the background. I coloured it with promarkers and of course I had to have glittery blobs on it too!! lol. I used a snippet of the patterned paper to go behind it and make the bow so I'm going to visit the lovely Di over at the playground.  If you want to see what the rest of the girls came up with the links are on the left of my blog :) I am off out now to take 'his lordship' for his daily institutional and will be back to visit your wonderful blogs later! TFL and lots of hugglessssssss Sue xxxxxxx

Love this one Sue - such a great great image (lol)! Seriously though these colours are truly yummy and I love the ink around your image, gives it a wonderful 'glow'. Particularly love the embellishment with your bow. I think I should have bought that die when we were at the NEC as well. Looks wonderful.

Hugs to you all Sue Pxxx

Gorgeous card, Sue. Your colouring is divine...such minute detail and so beautiful done.

The background mat for the image and the bow is so pretty on this and your floral cluster the perfect finishing touch. Hope Paul is feeling much stronger now and that you are both sleeping through the nights.

Am loving all the LOTV images I've been enjoying on my visits this morning (yes, I'm behind again!). This one is so cute, and the oval design you selected for this sweet little Christmas image is perfect. The mat dp is lovely with the children singing, and of course your signature pearls always add so much beautiful texture. TFS & Hugs

Wow Sue, this card is awesome! I am loving that image and I love that green paper! Your red base with the pearls looks fabulous. I can't imagine making something look so pretty with the liquid pearls. I would make a mess of it. lol Love your fancy oval openings, so pretty. Hugs

Wow Sue, this is fabulous! LOTV always have such super images and this is perfect - great colouring too. And am still in awe of your liquid pearls skills! Sometime you can give us a little lesson on a rainy day in the Playground tree house maybe? :)

Such a warm and pretty card. Those beaded leaves are just a fabulous addition to an already wonderful card! And yes, I second Di's request for a lessons on blob making. I put some on flower centers the other day, nowhere near the quality of your work. Rather pathetic looking, actually.
