Christmas Card Club

Hi everyone! thanks for all your fab comments on my blog..I need to catch up with everyone's today as I haven't caught up with them all in the passed couple of days because my brother made a surprise visit home he had to fly into Amsterdam for a meeting from Austria and he had a weekend off so he flew into Teesside Airport and he goes back Monday LOL so was lovely to see him again so soon. But it was a total shame to see how much the airport has declined..hardly any flights come in or out now ..nowhere open to get a cuppa from it used to be really busy. Anyway my card today is for our friendly Christmas Card Club challenge and it was the lovely Karen P's turn to choose the theme and she choose..black, white and one other colour...so I choose blue. I love this cute Penny Black stamp..embossed some linen cardstock with a snowflake stencil   and a snippet of the blue that was left over with a freebie Christmas folder I got ages ago from a magazine and added lots of glitter (which is hard to see!) and of course some blobs LOL. I actually struggled with this challenge and in the end after a few ideas didn't work the way I wanted and I was beginning to lose the will to live lol I just actually shot this all together and hoped it looked okay...anyway off to take 'his lordship' for a run and by the looks of it get wet :(  I hope you are all well and for those that need a hug I'm sending lots of virtual hugglessss TFL and huggles Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I always think blue and white is a lovely combination on snowy/frosty Christmas cards and you've pulled this off beautifully. Hugs, Tracey PS Did you know you could enter this at Christmas at Sweet Stampin'? The theme this month is Glitter and you've still got time! Well worth the effort. This is a lovely card Sue. This is my favourite shade of blue. It is showing like a wedgewood blue on my monitor, and looks fabulous.
The double layered snowflakes look great and the snowmen image is perfect with this.are

I am so envious of your even blobs. You card looks gorgeous with them as usual. Love the blue as your added splash of colour. Rained here almost all day . Even had a spat of hail stones. No gardening done here to day. Sat and spuddled in my room instead!! Hugs Mrs A,.

Can't beat a Penny Black image, and when it's 3 cute little snowfolk, all the better. This is adorable, love the blue added in with the B&W. Always enjoy seeing your pearls too. Liked the sparkling snowflakes added as trimming. So happy you had a nice visit with your brother. Life is always more important than blogging. I forget that sometimes, but it's true! TFS & Hugs. Sorry to be late visiting!

How fun to see your brother so soon again Sue!! To bad about the airport though. I am loving your sweet card! I love the color combo and I love those cute snowmen!! Love the snowflakes too, they are so pretty. Hugs

Such a pretty blue and white wintery card. I was going to say you ain't got no black with your black and white and one other color card, but indeed you do, a nice subtle touch of it. Your trademark blobs make it seem like it is snowing a blizzard.
