Fooling Around

Hi all you wonderful peeps! hope everyone is well and doing okay. I disappeared into my craft room today after taking 'his lordship' for a walk and making sure the patient was ok. We haven't had much sleep this week and his chest infection seems no better so it's back to see the doctor tomorrow for another visit. Not sure if I'm happy with this card I think I was too tired really but my 'go to' box is getting a bit low and I wanted to craft for awhile. I made the banners with bits of card leftover so I can visit Di over at the playground, if you want to join in the keys are on the right of my blog. It's a fab place to go :) I won't be going to my crafty club tomorrow so I will miss the girls but the hubster is more important. Will be having a wander round your blogs later so TFL and lots of hugglesssssssssss Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Well, I for one this this is a really cute card. I love that see through woven ribbon. It is a perfect touch with this cute image. The banner is so nice...looks like it is made from some levoly felt...or are my eyes playing tricks with me.

Hope Paul feels better soon. You are such a good wife to put him first. As you say, you will miss the girls but he comes first!

Hugs
Maureen

It's cute as can be and I love the heart banner. That mesh looking ribbon caught my eye immediately...really like it, too.
Hope the doctor gets just the right meds for your hubby. It's terrible for this kind of thing to linger...I'm sure he feels really bad.

Hi there Soooooz - this is beautiful, lurve the image and it made me smile! Can you get me some of those shoes please??? Like the piece of pink hessian as well, great texture.

Sorry me wires were crossed the other day, am only just catching up! I do hope the GP visit today sorts out Paul's chest infection, he certainly doesn't need this. Take care all of you.

I think you should be happy with this card Sue! I am loving it! The papers you used are beautiful and perfect. I love that adorable little girl and how you colored her, your banner is a the perfect addition along with the burlap and ribbon. I just love this card! Love the color combo too. I sure hope the doctor can help your hubby. I was praying that he was getting better, and since he isn't I am glad you are taking him back to the doctors. Chest infections are no fun!! Hugs

Absolutely brilliant Sue! Gosh I do love that image - and everything else about the card. I think you also made a double layered banner? Neat trick and very effective indeed.

Hope the trip to the docs went fine and that Paul feels better soon.

Gorgeous card there Sue. That banner is cute.
I am so sorry that the patient is STILL a patient. Give him a gentle squish from me won't you but put your mask on first!
Mrs A did allow my card in after blowing it up!! I hope she didn't damage it!
S'pose I shall be looking after the platypus now! Hurrumpf!

Tell that gal to quit fooling around and not carry the cake around over her head. It is making me nervous! She is going to get all tangled up in that banner and drop the cake. I just know it!!!!
