Relaxing Day

Hi everyone! hope you are all well and are having a great weekend. I haven't really done much today apart from the Sunday lunch and a quick run out with 'his lordship'..I watched some tv with the hubster and then did some crafting. The weather has been awful all day..it rained really hard during the night and it's been grey and overcast and miserable..I do hope it's much better on Wednesday when we go meet up with Sue P (PlanetSusie) and her lovely hubby Graham in Scarborough. I made this card today to join in a couple of challenges..I love these Sassy Cheryl images they are so cute and great to colour and I've used some bits up so I'm off to join all the fun in the playground (keys at the top right of my blog) the lovely Di will take great care of you :))) It's my crafty day with the girls tomorrow and it's my friend Carol's 70th on 31st May so I reckon there will be a lot of frivolity!! Anyway I'm going to toodle off to make a cuppa and I will be back later to visit your fab blogs lots of hugglesssssssssssssssss and TFL Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

We actually had nice sunny weather today but I was stuck indoors doing jobs. Managed to have lunch in the garden and then back to the grindstone. I love how you have cut the image on your card and she is really sweet. I bet she can get up to mischief though. Love your swinging butterfly. Brilliant idea. Thank you for fluttering by #8. Hugs Mrs a. (butterfly challenge).

What a sweet snippets card! It made me sigh and smile! It sounds like you have a jam-packed and fun week in store for you, Sue. Isn't jam-packed a funny word? It means busy, but I have to give a thought to how that came to stand for busy. Do you use that terms across the pond? Anywaffle, I know you will have a blast with Soupie and her hubs. Hugs from me all around! Yes, for the stained hubzies, too!! Stained? What ? That word was spoze to be SAINTED!! Oh, hahaha. Hugs, Darnell

Fantastic card, loving the image, colour choice and great design.
Have not trained my hubby very well on the "housekeeping" he's not bad, but cooking is not his best subject!!! However I did not make that mistake with our son, he has a wide remit. He even does the sewing on of buttons, in their house.
Have a great evening
Hugs

I love this image! It could have been me many, many years ago. I'd like nothing better than a good book and a nice shade tree in the summertime! Great job of coloring and layout!
