Christmas Club Challenge - Nativity

Hi all you wonderful peeps! it's time for our friendly Christmas Club Challenge and the theme this fortnight was chosen by myself and its 'Nativity' so I have used this lovely LOTV topper which always reminds me of being in and going to see my children and Grandchildren in their Christmas nativity plays and the mad scramble of making outfits LOL I can remember when I was little I was a the narrator one year and an angel and I loved my wings (can hear Sue P laughing right now at me once being an angel!!) Anyway if you want to see what the 'gang' have made just click on their names on the left of my blog, Hubster has gone out with his friend to play golf so me and 'his lorship' are going for a stroll and then I'm coming back and doing some baking. Have a great day and I will be back later to visit your fab blogs ...TFL and hugglessssssssssss Sue xxxxxxxxxxx

Love your card btw - brilliant little topper and gorgeous papers, surrounded by blobs!! I don't think I was ever in a Nativity Play - perhaps I was tooooo naughty!!! As for you being an angel, well wot can I say, sounds worse than the 'habit'! Guffaws galore!!!

This is just so adorable, Sue! I remember making shepherd costumes and angel wings too! My Dad made me the most wonderful shepherds hook and all the boys wanted to hook each other with it!!!
Don't remember where the boys came from as I went to an all girls school! lol

Your image is so sweet and love your pretty design. I always feel happy whenever I see pearl dots on anyones cards as they make me think of you. They are your signature to me!!

Hope you had lots of fun with Sue P and Graham and have fun planning for the next trip to Birmingham. Sorry I am so late with comments but I left home at 9 am to go to the garage sale. DH was driving up to the lake with our new shed and bricks for the footings and path. Now we can store our lawnmower and tools etc...not too mention the zillion extra things that seem to need stored. I have 2 days to myself to craft and by lazy an then he will be back. lol
His pal will go up with him in about 10 days and they will assemble it...so a few more days of crafty fun for me...
Hugs
Maureen

Hi Sue, what a terrific challenge, and what a wonderful way to interpret it with the lovely LOTV image. It does indeed remind of the children's Christmas plays at church, and I love the bright colors you selected. Also the pretty way that you tied in the gorgeous red poinsettia with the glittering golds of the embelllishments. Thanks for a challenge that makes us think of the true meaning of Christmas. Hope you enjoyed your 'me' time and had fun baking. Sorry to have been MIA for a while, hope to do better these next weeks. TFS & Hugs
