Trimming The Tree

Hi everyone! well we have had some lovely weather these passed few days, so me and the hubster and 'his lordship' have been taking full advantage. We had a drive to Saltburn during the week and he is really well behaved most of the time LOL but when we get closer to the beach and the water he's off like a shot when we say go!! and then he's swimming and running in and out, he absolutely loves it and the good thing about it being nice and warm he was dry by the time we got back to the car, always a bonus:) I'm on about Ollie by the way!!!   We also did some partaking of some gorgeous fish and chips oh my the midriff won't be getting any smaller will it??? Okay enough waffling on.. my card today is for our friendly Christmas Club Challenge and the theme was chosen by the lovely Carol and that was penguins or any alternative bird...so I cut this pre-coloured digi out twice and decoupaged it up but you can't see that very well..it's been sprayed with spray and sparkle and you can't see that either hahahaha. We had a fab day at our crafty club yesterday..gorgeous buffet we all put on and one of the girls made a scrummy chocolate birthday cake for Carol's 70th..we got her some stunning flowers off us all. It must be the longest birthday celebration I've known it's been over a fortnight since she turned 70 and we are still having fun!!! Well I'm going to toodle off and do some more weeding in the front garden today..I think they just multiply overnight!!! TFL and lots of hugglesssssssssssssssss Sue xxxxxxxxxxxx

Fish and chips at the seaside is wonderful, nothing to beat it, I'm pleased you mentioned it was Ollie that was running and swimming, I had visions of DH having to dry off. Hugs Kate x

Aww, these penguins are so dang cute Sue! I love that little tree and the way there are stacked up to decorate it. Too cute!! I love the embossing and oh my the poinsettia is just so pretty. I also love that you placed the sentiment on the side like that, I really like that look! Nothing wrong in keeping a celebration going for a while! It sounds like a great celebration and I know the birthday girl has enjoyed it! Hugs, Brenda

Sounds like hubby had a great time frolicking in the waves on the beach... tee hee, I mean His Lordship, although I did image hubby doing it for a moment. I love the tower of penguins happily putting the star on the tree. Great little poinsettia die too, a nice size for an accent.
