Fun With Snippets

Hi all you wonderful peeps! Things have started to calm down here now thank goodness and I have had some time for some crafty fun after the housework and laundry of course!...it's been really nice here today so everything has dried nicely ready for the dreaded ironing lol...anyway I'm waffling again..I sat down and decided to make a card with lots of snippets of paper I have..still have lots and lots I think it grows overnight. I coloured this LOTV image of Annabelle ages ago but hadn't used it so after lots of cutting and blobbing I finished my snippet card!! so I'm off to play with Di and everyone in the Playground..don't forget the keys are at the top right of my blog!! I will be round to visit your fab blogs after tea...lots and lots of hugglesssssssssssssss Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Glad things are calming down at your house for a moment, so you could make & share this pretty card. My first impression as the card scrolled up on the monitor was "a quilt". What a nifty layout & use of the snippets. Very colorful and cheery. Of course the LOTV image grabs my heart and that's some terrific coloring of this sweetie on her bike giving the little poochie a ride. You can just tell they're both having such fun. Loved how you've trimmed your 'quilt' with the pearls too. The tiny butterflies looked like embroidery & applique against the quilt top and this is just a delightful card. TFS & don't work too hard on the ironing. Hugs

Oh Sue..this is beautiful. I love the colour coordinated blobs...they look so cool that way. The coloured corner pieces look fabulous too.

This is such a sweet image and you have made it into a beautiful card.

Don.t tire yourself out with the ironing. Sometimes I just put it all away and iron as we wear it! Don't tell! ahhahaha

Hi Sue
Just catching up.
You have put together colours I wouldn't have thought of but it all goes together beautifully.
I try and hang things on the line so they need little or no ironing. . . . . .I'm just lazy lol!

A fun and frolicking card! I love all the different patterned papers on it. I think that's me as a kid. I must have swiped someone's dog though. I'm more a cat girl.
