Arrrrrrrrr Me Hearties!!!!

Hi all you wonderful peeps! thanks so much for your fab comments on my last post I must apologise for not getting round all your blogs but my brother came back from Austria on a surprise visit so I didn't get time last night but I will try to get round them all later. It was a great surprise and he's home for a fortnight! I'm feeling a lot better now and so is 'the hubster' so thanks for all your well wishes. It's been a really sunny autumn day today I hope it stays dry for all the children going to see the huge firework display....we are lucky because 'his lordship' isn't bothered at all but I know there are lots of pets that suffer especially with idiots just letting them off willy nilly! Anyway enough waffling on I have made this card for my box..I had coloured this free digi image in ages ago but couldn't pull the card together...then I found this paper I forgot I had I know all of you understand what I mean LOL added some burlap and bits and bobs and that was it basically. So I shall toodle off and TFL and lots of hugglessssssss to you all ...Sue

Terrific card there Sue - and so beautifully colored of course. Glad to hear you're both feeling better - both Len and I feel lousy (flu shots yesterday). Still, it'll pass for sure.

Wow... this is smokin' good Sue! Beautifully coloured and I like how setting the image on the burlap gives it a rustic look.

What a fun and fabulous birthday card Sue!! I love that image, so cute this girl pirate is and of course you found the perfect papers for her! I have paper in so many spots that it's a wonder I can put a card together! lol I really need to get it all in one spot I guess. Glad ot hear that you and hubby are feeling better and so happy that your brother surprised you with another visit! How awesome!! Our dog doesn't like the fireworks either, but she does a lot better than she used too. She would hide when they started and wouldn't come out for hours. Now she will get between my legs or on my lap and just shake. So we usually put her in the house when they start around our neighborhood. And yes, those annoying people that just set them off willy nilly I could strangle! lol Hugs, Brenda
