Busy Saturday

Hi everyone it seems ages since I've had a chance to sit down and craft just to play instead of doing DT work. I picked some of my bits of paper and decided to make a card just for my box. I love these Zuri Artsy images to colour they are great for teenage girl cards. I've had a busy day today my brother has been home for a week and he went back this morning so I dropped him off at Leeds/Bradford airport and I've had to make a decision which I'm really sad about because I was so looking forward to it and that is I won't be going to the NEC. The 'hubster' has to spend a few days in hospital in Newcastle and they just happen to be the same days as the craft show is on...and of course he always comes first...so I won't be meeting up with my blogging buds until Oct/Nov now at the next one!!! But we are hoping to meet up with Mrs P and the maestro soon. Anyway I shall toodle off now and visit your blogs later on TFL and lots of huggles Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Such a pretty card Sue, I love your image and you have chosen fabulous colours - your flowers are beautiful.
Such a shame about the NEC, but like you say - hubby must come first.

You work with blue so well and can even make it pretty and feminine. I swear one of these days I am going to try to remember to embellish with blobs. I just love what you do with them. This is a sweet card. It's sad you'll miss the craft show and meeting with your pals, but it will do wonders for your budget. I've made the decision not to go to ours this year--need to get the spending under control and truly I don't "need" anything (I certainly want lots though).

Love your fantastic card. Great image, colours and design.
That's a pity you won't make it to NEC but our treasures definitely come first.
You will have more money to spend in November. Well maybe not, there are always other ways to buy Craft Goodies.
Hugs

This is such a cute card Sue! I love that image, you have colored her so cute too. The papers you used are fabulous and I just love that one spiky flower-so cool looking. I'm sorry that you can go to the NEC with your crafty friends, but you are right-hubby comes first. That is the way it is around here too. I hope you get to go to the next one! Hugs, Brenda
