Run For Your Life!!!

Hi everyone I hope you all had a fabulous Easter Weekend and didn't we have such great weather too! I made this card for my best friend's Son...he is a right character and always taking the mickey out of his 'Auntie' Sue...so he loves running lol so I've used 'Run Derek Run' from Dr. Digi and I have attached a wobble spring to the back so it looks like he is bobbing along! My dear hubster has finally got his operation date and the hospital has kindly asked me if I wish to stay in the relatives accommodation ...I was so grateful because it meant a lot of travelling for me each day which I don't mind but this way I can pop and see him when I like! and I've told him it's also near Newcastle so I could actually shop as well LOL!!! I was joking about the shopping hahaha...  I'm so grateful to my blogging family for all their kind wishes etc and I apologise for not being around a lot..but I know you all understand too.
Here is a photograph of our Granddaughter on World Book Day...she was Elmer The Patchwork Elephant !!! She loves reading and loves crafting too...Anyhoooo I shall pop off and here's lots of huggles to you all xxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sue xxxxxxxxxxxx

Your Granddaughter is a little sweetie Sue and how marvellous that she likes reading, I think it's a dying activity with the young nowadays.
Wonderful news that Paul had got his op date through, and that you will be able to stay at the hospital as travelling is so tiring and you'll be anxious too.
Fabulous card, it's a real fun image, Kate x

Hope all goes well for your Hubby and really good that you are able to stay so close to the hospital, wishing him all the best and you may need a bit of shopping therapy.

Such good new that Paul has his op. date, and great that you can stay nearby, it will take a little of the stress out of the proceedings! hope it's all over very soon and that the outcome is what you're both hoping for.
Lovely photo of your little granddaughter, she makes a fabulous Elmer, it's brilliant that she loves her books and reading, the one thing I miss about working is the children's storytime sessions...I loved reading to them!!!
Super card, what a great idea to make Derek wobble!!!
Big hugs

What a fun card for your best friend's son Sue!! I love the colors you chose and love the way you colored up your digi. Can't ever go wrong with polka dot and striped paper! This card just makes me smile! I'm out of the loop with your DH, but I'm glad he had his operation date and I'm glad there is a place for you to stay as well! I know I stay in my late husband's room when he was in for his operation. I don't live far from the hospital either, but still stayed. I like how you teased him about shopping, to funny! Your granddaughter is indeed a cutie pie, love seeing her dressed up like that holding her book! Love that she loves reading and crafting-always nice to have a crafting buddy! Big hugs, Brenda
