Polkadoodles Digi Chooseday Challenge

Hi everyone it's time for our challenge over at Polkadoodles Digi Chooseday the design team were asked to make a birthday card for our November challenge and add a candle ..well this fab digital image of Ruby Birthday Cake did just the job! I made an easel card and used Octavia Moonfly Papers and one of the fab Winnie Celebration Sentiments...please pop over and join in the challenge and see what the rest of my teamies have made!!!
It's been a long hard slog these past weeks but we are getting there,
I have been 'on edge' but I think that's only to be expected but at least no alarms have gone off on his Vad pump it's been working great and I can't believe he doesn't get breathless anymore! it's amazing but he's been through a lot and he's still weak but he managed to have a little walk when I took the 'boys' out the other day and then I popped him back in the car while we all went on the beach to blow the cobwebs away.
Thank you all so much for being there for me I truly appreciate each and every one of you.

Hope things continue to improve with your husband. Being a caretaker is exhausting so you take care too.

I'm sorry to be MIA so much Sue, sounds like life has been a challenge with DH, but sounds like he is finally on the right track and just needs to regain his strength and stamina back. That is good news that he doesn't get breathless anymore! I love, love, love this card! It is so girly and so cute! Love your coloring as well. Beautiful shading. Hugs, Brenda

Your card is beautiful Sue, love the shape and papers and fantastic colouring of the pretty image.
So pleased Paul is continuing to improve, of course it will take time...slow and steady is best! Bet he really enjoyed that little walk in the fresh air even if it exhausted him!
Big hugs

Glad Paul's recovery is going in the right direction, as Chris said - slow and steady is best. I'm sure his little walk in the fresh air did him good. xx

What great news to hear that Paul is now home with you and the boys, Sue!! It will be a long recovery, but look at him already having a wee walk and not getting breathless! Amazing news!! Woohoo!! He will heal much better and much quicker being at home with your cookin' and attention! Your easel card is pink and precious and colored beautifully! Sending lots of love and hugs! Darnell

I'm so pleased to hear that Paul is recovering well at last! I think that being 'on edge' and not totally round the bend is amazing, Sue and I'm sure that Paul appreciates all your love and care. Being strong for someone you love can be exhausting so look after yourself too. I'm pleased to see you are giving yourself some time to create and this lovely easel card is so pretty. Love the shape, and the papers suit the image so well.
Sending a great big hug.
