October Challenge at Crafty Calendar

 

It's time for our monthly challenge at Crafty Calendar and the theme this time is 'Halloween' so get on over and join in with your spooky creations.

Nothing much has changed here ..I'm trying to make myself active and not mope around the place but it's hard with 'the hubster' I keep going to talk to him and then stop myself..he loved playing golf when he was fit and well and the Ryder Cup was on over the weekend and he would have absolutely loved watching us win it again.

Bertie and me have been going on our walks and he keeps me sane at the moment...we are going down to Liverpool on Friday to stay with my Son for the week so I'm looking forward to that. Well that's all my news I think...take care everyone and lots of huggles xxxxxxxxxxxx Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

September Challenge at Crafty Calendar

Hi everyone...well it's been a long time since I last blogged and such a lot has happened ...I'm fully recovered from pneumonia now...but on 6th August I lost my beloved 'hubster'. It's so strange not to have him around the house and I find myself going to talk to him and realise he's not there. We were out shopping and an alarm went off on his machine that controlled the pump in his heart...so when we got back he phoned the hospital and they said come on up ...that was on the Sunday he passed away on the Wednesday after. It was so quick I was in total shock..think I still am to be truthful and then two days ago I went out to do some shopping and a woman drove into my car and that's been written off...you couldn't make it up if you tried really..so now I have to wait to get a car. Anyway that's all my news I hope I haven't depressed anyone.

June Challenge At Crafty Calendar

 

The June challenge is up and running for Crafty Calendar and the theme this month is 'Add A Sentiment'...I could have made this card to send to myself! I'm sorry I haven't been around but I've been really poorly with pneumonia...still really getting over it because I'm feeling so weak and tired but hopefully I will feel much better soon and be able to get back to my blogging.

Sorry I haven't been blogging for a few weeks but after the bedroom was finished ...I decided to have the lounge done ..so we've been upside down with stuff all over! but at least it's done now and looks so much brighter.

#615 Fab'n'Funky Challenge ' Use Your Favourite Colours'

 Hi everyone! hope you all had a lovely Easter weekend..it's time fort our fortnightly challenge at Fab'n'Funky and the theme this week chosen by our lovely Neva is use your favourite colours..I have used Pink and this beautiful LOTV image...I have quite a few colours I love but I enjoyed colouring this image in pink and adding a touch of yellow.

We are very sadly going to the funeral of one of our best friends this afternoon so I'm not looking forward to that she was taken so suddenly one day I was talking to her ..next she was gone..total shock

#614 'Think Spring!' with Fab'N'Funky Challenge

 'Think Spring' is our theme from Fab'n'Funky Challenge this fortnight and the hostess is the lovely Chris. I chose this cute image from Mo's Digital Pencils to use and I think it's a lovely one too.

Well we've been busy sorting our bedroom out...we've had it decorated and a new carpet put down and the wardrobes and beds got delivered yesterday...so everything has been upside down..so now I just have to sort it all out!! and so glad the weather has been so lovely too.
