Hi Sue...love your card. You have so many subtle details on your card. I love the doodled edge. On my second look I noticed the stitching...brilliant with that fab doodling.

Love that embossing folder that is on the torn piece under your sentiment. What folder is that hun? I think I need to rush out and buy it...I love the look of it. The snowflake charm is the perfect finishing touch.
Great card!

Thanks for stopping by Sue...That felt good to use up stash...I am kind of enjoying my stash goal...I am motivated by the extra spending money I will have when I come to England in August! Yay!
I want to stock up on charms and your big square and fancy scalloped cards. Both are not really available in my area.
I will be bringing an empty suitcase! teehee

Ok Sue, now don't laugh cuz Di thought it was hilarious that we wanted to go so many places...but keep in mind that we both have family all across the country and they would want to visit.
We usually manage a few days in a hotel or bed and breakfast and a get away somewhere spur of the moment on a "special price". (Like Venice or Spain on a last minute deal)
So we have 29 days and it's a couple days in London in a hotel to see some shows, shop etc.
The 3 or 4 days in Hemelheapstead to visit my cousin and her partner. We usually do day trips out with them and supper out in nice pubs.
Then North to the Lake district to visit her brothers( my other cousins adn their Mum). We do outings into the Lakes and villages around them.
Then down to Sheffield to visit DH's cousins and Auntie. We just visit there...maybe 2 days. We will get a bed and breakfast or hotel there.
Then off to Filey where DH has 2 more cousins and their families that have retired there. We will stay the longerst with them and always take the mini break over to somewhere in Europe with them.

They have a gorgeous beach hut right on the sand...a cobble on the landing (boat) and there will be lots of fishing and shrimping and walks on the beach. We rent a car for the whole trip so we can get out of their hair for day trips and they can join in when they like. She is a lot of fun and really organized and always has boatloads of company so is a fab host and always has fun things for us to do!
Then back to London for a couple of days! I am hoping to meet up with Di from Pixies Crafty workshop! I was hoping there might be a crop that Julia and Lunch Lady Jan organize but have to keep my ears open!
When I am in Filey I will meet up with Jo in Scarborough. Little Pieces Oof Me

Sorry that was Jo of A little piece of me blog.
We email back and forth and will hopefully meet for coffee while DH is out golfing!

Do you live anywhere near our itinerary?

scrappymo! said...

I will let you know the exact dates we will be in Filey once our itinerary is firmed up! That would be so fun!

Hi Sue,
me little blogging mate. I love this card. Good luck in the challenge.
I have missed our little chats and my war and peace comments on your wonderful creations.
How is my lovely little Ollie keeping.
I hope you enjoyed Mr Selfridge on Sunday.
I will have to get the whole set as I have missed a few. Not got one of those wonderful boxes that lets you look at past programs, and I hate watching on the computer.
Have a wonderful crafty day.
Lots of crafty love. Fairy Godmother Jenny L.
