Christmas Card Club Feature A Creature

Hi everyone, sorry I've been missing in action for awhile but I'm listening to the doctors advice and 'slowly does it'. Yesterday I went out for the day with our craft club to Whitley Bay for a workshop with the lovely Lynnda Worsnop of Oak House Studios. Really enjoyed it had a great time great company with my crafty buds Jayne, Carol and Lynne, although we could have done without the torrential downpour on the way there!! it was horrendous and I was driving!!! My card today is for our Christmas Card Club and it was the lovely Hazel's turn to pick the topic and it was 'feature a creature' so I used this reindeer, I believe its from pink gem's designs but not sure.  Tomorrow I'm venturing out again almost back to my normal self I think, its our weekly craft club day so looking forward to all the chat and the cakes and all the gossip!! LOL TFL and huggles everyone and I will get round to looking at all my blogging buds gorgeous creations xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Glad to hear you are taking it slowly...don't rush it though! I am glad to hear you are getting out as a day with girlfriends is always so much fun. It is always a bit majical to have a day full of fun creating.

You card is great...love the reindeer but what a great idea to put the 4 corner sentiments...love that idea.
Mine is going to be late...got the basics done but it needs a bit of "pretty"ing up...something is missing and we are off to America to get our gas for the trip to the lake. American gasoline is so much cheaper than ours and the border is only 15 minutes away.
We will drive a half hour to Costco in Bellingham Washington and do some dairy type shopping and then on to Michaels and Joann's...for my crafty fix!
I will post my card tonight after supper.
Crafty hugs
Maureen

Hi Sue, me little blogging mate.
You were right this image of the reindeer is from pink gems. I know because I too bought this image. Great minds as they say. lol.
So glad your taking the docs advice. Can't have my little blog mate getting ill again. Your journey sounds horrible, I hate driving in the rain especially heavy rain.I really am a coward as far as driving is concerned, I hate driving anywhere I don't already no the way to. Nearly had a head on crash on the motorway once, but luckily enough as I got up to where the accident had happened there was a small gap I could just squeeze through. Blimey it does take a long time to stop at 70mph. My legs were all wobbly driving the rest of the way home, and when I got in I had a stiff drink of whisky to calm my nerves. So I think that's why I'm very nervous of driving now, or is it just my age. lol.
Your card is really very cute and wonderful see I got to your card at long last. Fabulous creation. Love the sentiment tags in each corner fab idea.
Have a wonderful crafty evening. Big hugs for you and Ollie.
Lots of crafty love. Fairy Godmother Jenny L.

Gorgeous and cute card. Love the image, sentiments and colour combo. Great to hear you have a day out crafting, mine stays in the craftroom until such time....dad is palliative care so we need to be here 24/7. Hoping to be eligible for home respite so can go out with hubby for a while...depends if dad is classed as 'heavy' home care silly isn't it. Gosh he is asleep most of the time...keep well and happy...love your ozzie buddy, aNNIe xxxxx
