Snowman Family

Hi all my wonderful blogging buddies, sorry I haven't been posting anything for a few days but hubster hasn't been well and neither have I,  I can't seem to shake off the effects of that darn flu jab! and then I was back at the doc's for some test's, I've decided getting older isn't fun LOL. Anyway enough whining on there are people a lot worse off than me. I was having a rummage through my wooden stamps and found this. Isn't it awful that we put things away and then forget about them? I think it's such a cute stamp. So I coloured it up and they have glossy accents on their hats and scarves but you can't see it at all and then the background was made up of lots of snippets, so guess where I'm going off to play?? lol Di's wonderful playground, if you haven't come across her blog yet you need to pay her a visit, such a lovely person she is and lots of fun is had by all who venture into the playground :) here is the LINK please go and take a look. 'His Lordship' is fit and well, not happy that he hasn't had lots of really long runs out, but at least he's been out everyday. Hope everyone is safe and well from the horrible weather that we've just had. TFL and take care and I'll be around to your blogs soon huggles xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sue xxxxxxxxxxxx

Poor you (and Hubby) being under the weather again, hope you will both be soon feeling better. I am ashamed to confess that I too have stuff packed away that hasn't seen the light for ages, but then I always think it's like having something new again!! Yours is a fab find, they are so cute and beautifully coloured. Love the patchwork effect with the papers too xx

Gorgeous card Sue, and I love the stamp! It was a great find. I don't think I've been crafting long enough to have forgotten about anything yet, but I'm sure it'll happen one day, lol.
Hope you both feel better soon! x

Hello Sue. Beautiful card. I have to confess, I have not used my rubber stamps for over 2 years. Now I shall have to look them out and see what i've got. I got my flu jab on Monday after them taking blood. I have now turned a corner as to-day is the best I have been. Hugs Rita xxx

Hi Sue, sure hope you are feeling much better after the ill effects of the flu shot. DH had a bit of a reaction this year, but I was fine. Loved your cutie snow family, and really liked your snowy background. Also admired the way you used those snippets with some gold edging like a patchwork quilt. Very effective. Great card and nice to see ya in the Playground. Indeed, lots of friendly (not to mention talented too!) folks visit there. TFS & Hugs

It's a bummer when we get sick, hope you both feel better today, it is good to see a card from you and it's a beauty. I tend to put my wooden stamps in a box and forget them, we have so many beautiful ones too/. I used to have them all on shelves on a large book case but since renovating the studio they are boxed...must get them out...

GORGEOUS card Sue and a good enough remedy for being ill.xxxx

Wish I could just be there and give you a big hug to help you get better...no...wait a minute...on second thought i might catch it then...hahahahaha...I will send you a germ free virtual hug instead!

Hope you both feel better soon Sue. I know it is probably not good for "his other Lordship" not to get ill and with you as the carer, it is important for you as well.

Sweet little snowmen...isn't it fun when you find things you had forgotten about...almost better than shopping! lol Great use of snippets on your background.

Hi there Matey - what a great card, those little snowpeeps are sooo cute. I love their little titfers and mufflers! A great find hidden in your stash methinks.

Sorry that you are still a little off colour and that Paul is also unwell. The flu jab is a funny thing because I also suffer when I have had one but Graham has just had one and has had no effects whatsoever - he is soooo lucky!

Hugs to you and mwah for Ollie babe.

So sorry to hear you are still not well huni, is this the first year you had the flu jab? The reason I asked is after I had it the first time I was rough for a couple of months but it did then ease. My issue is I am immuno surpressed cos of the RA drugs anyways and having that blooming jab made me so bad.
Anyways huni I hope you are both feeling better now and I must just say I love this, it's a gorgeous image which you've coloured wonderfully. I'm trying to remember to dig out the old wooden stamps too - it's become a habit to go to the clear or unmounted ones first. Keep warm and well xx

Hi Sue

Hope you're perking up after the flu jab reaction. Oh I do so love that stamp you rediscovered, and great use of snippets too.

Thank you so much for the sweet words about the Playground, it's all you girlies who make it happen - otherwise I'd be sitting on the swings all on me lonesome!

Sorry I'm a bit late calling by, still battling holiday laundry here :(

Hugs, Di xx
