Winter Wonderland with CCC Challenge

Hi everyone! thank you all for your lovely comments on my last post I truly do appreciate everyone and your all amazing blogging friends. Well it's our fortnightly friendly Christmas Card Club today and the theme is 'Winter Wonderland' and it was chosen by my lovely friend Christine. I hope this is okay for our challenge my brain really isn't functioning right now lol not that it ever did!! There is a lot of sparkle on this but it never shows up does it?? This is one of the first clarity stamps I ever bought and if you would like to see what the rest of the girls have done all their blogs are at the left of mine there will be some truly fabs cards there as usual:)  I'm going to my crafty club tomorrow I've missed seeing the girls so much ..I hope everyone is having a good weekend.....on the photo below I have been trying to get this 'former' white sock off him for days but he keeps hiding it, it's even been dug up from his 'secret' spot in the garden LOL you would think he had no toys sheesh...TFL and lots of hugglesss Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Sue this is a fabulous wintry card. I really love all those snowy trees. You have created a lovely scene with Santa zooming across the sky. Hope things will start to settle a wee bit for you soon. Love to you all - and especially Paul. Hugs Christine.

PS My brother's dog had a thing for white socks too. They would always disappear from the washing basket and find their way into Cricket's stash.

A gorgeous card Sue, the stamp is beautiful and I think a number of us CCC members have used it this time - so festive. Love the fence detail at the bottom and I have just remembered that I have a Santa and sleigh die that I must find and use too.

WOW! I am seeing so many wonderful wintry creations this afternoon and I love what you have created Sue. The Santa image is gorgeous and I love the blue and white colours you have used. The trees are stunning and I would never have thought to stamp them u in blue. Both you and our Susie P have inspired me so much that I want to CASE your cards. I hope you have a really lovely time with your crafting buddies, and I see nothing wrong with a sock because I know what our Eddy steals and I'm not sharing that it's too embarrassing Karen xx

Sue, this is lovely. Great idea to frame your tree scene (I liked the way you used the die cut on the focal piece too). So much sparkle with the snowy top border & the cute fence idea at the base of the card. Wonderful design and pretty colors. Hope this Sunday is finding you getting a chance to relax & rest just a little bit. Hugs to you both, and TFS.

Hi Sue, love Ollie's photo, how could you take his sock from him!, isn't it funny what they want to keep, even although they have plenty of toys, just love animals.
Now for your card, it is stunning, loving the trees, what stamp is that? the way you've stamped them is fab. Santa going across the sky is brilliant and your whole design is wonderful, love, love it. Hope you are both doing well, hugs Kate x

Hi Sue me wonderful little blogging matey.
what a superb card for the Christmas card club.
Love your superb design, and the sparkle is showing up lovely.
Oh my word Olliebobs is having such fun with you with that sock.
It's like Christmas when you children had more fun with the box it came in instead of the toy. lol.
Love and biggest hugs to all in the J household, especially the sock loving Ollie.
Lots of crafty love. Fairy Godmother Jenny L.

Lol, it seems the white sock is something special at the moment, I know what it's like Jess keeps pinching socks, she waits at the washing machine while I put things in and take them out ready to grab one if it falls, lol. Sue your card is so beautiful and I can see the sparkle, love that images as well as the wonderful colours and design, smashing make.

Poor Ollie, you can't take his sock. It would be like that advert with Harvey and Rabbit lol!
Best wishes.

What a magical wintery scene, Sue ... the stuff of dreams! I want to hop in and be lost amongst the trees. BTW, Ollie is doing a great job at looking innocent. Richard is the same - so many toys and all he wants is his battered old box. LOL.
hugs, Asha

What a gorgeous scene you have created. I love the fence in the foreground. It gives the whole card a lovely perspective. I had a Persian cat that really took to a pair of dolls knickers from one of my daughters dolls. She would carry them constantly around in her mouth nd would get very agitated if she lost sight of them. Goodness only knows what the neighbours used to think when they heard one of us outside in the garden calling out "Have you seen Rissie's knickers cos she has lost them again?" !! Happy days. Hugs Mrs A.

Squeee! Check our your card and all those fabulous dies. *sigh* Your card is to die for, for sure! Love the stamp you used. I can see why it is an old favorite. As for His Highness... well, what can you say?! There's nothing like a good sock to keep you company. I'm quite fond of socks myself.

Oh my Sue, your card is gorgeous!!! I love all the sparkle and shine. The icy feel this card has, it is just a fabulous scene with so much depth and dimension. That is such a cute picture of His Lordship and his white sock. lol Just like a kid who loves the box the gift comes in more than the gift itself. lol Hugs, Brenda
