Crafty Calendar August Challenge

Hi all you wonderful peeps! Apologies all round for not blogging more often and visiting your blogs! The heat had knocked my poor 'hubster' off his feet and I have been struggling to get things done. I think the 'boys' have spent all their time jumping in and out of their paddling pool or laying on their cool mats....I have been finding it very hard to keep my blog up and running lately but I will try and improve I promise!! sounds like one of my school reports LOL! Anyways my card today is for our fabulous August challenge over at Crafty Calendar Challenge and the theme this month is 'Dots And/Or Stripes' so I have used this fab Nitwits papers and we are sponsored by the awesome A Day For Daisies who has kindly given us a $12 voucher to spend in store. Please pop over and see the gorgeous creations my team have made with these lovely images and please join in and be a follower! I've tried so hard to keep this challenge blog up and running so come on girls and guys join in!!!
I have to have a cortisone injection in my right shoulder tomorrow so I'm really looking forward to that! I don't like this getting old malarky at all. It's another warm day here and I can't believe the amount of butterflies we have visiting our garden and bees that's so good to see and of course the birds having a quick wash in the pool hahaha! Well I shall toodle off and put some more washing out while it's nice..hope you are all doing great and lots of huggles xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Gorgeous card Sue, cute image, beautiful colours and papers.
Hope things get easier for you Sue, think the weather may be cooling down a bit now so hopefully Paul will cope better. Good luck with the injection, don't envy you that!

Hi Sue, don't worry about the blogging malarkey, family and health are far more important, besides this heat has been affecting all of us. It's been fab,but we are so not used to it. They boys would love their paddling pool.
Lovely sweet card, super design and colours.
Wish you well with the injection, take care Kate xx

I love the colours you have used here Sue and that image is so sweet. Sorry to hear that the heat is playing havoc with Hubby. Hope the temperatures soon drop to a normal level, although I am still getting the use of the dogs paddling pool...they still won't go in it!! xx

Fabulous card, Sue, I love the colour combination and the image is so cute. Hope you hubby is feeling a little better today, I think we could all do with a big downpour in the UK to clear the air. Hope your injection wasn't too bad, they're never pleasant. xx

Hi Sue, first your card, I absolutely LOVE the colour combo, it's a fabulous card.
I hope your injection wasn't too bad and that you also have had a cooler day. We'll be into rainy days too soon for me LOL.
Hope you're OK and the boys too.

Your story is really hurtful, anyway it's a good help for others about cortisone injection side effects and bad experience.
