Happy Monday!

Hi all you wonderful peeps! We all had a great day at our crafty club today  its our wonderful friend Lynne's 60th birthday this Wednesday so we had a surprise party for her today and we all had a really good time. This is the card I made her and I've used snippets of paper for all of it so im really chuffed ! and here is a picture of the wonderful birthday cake she had  of course being a crafter it had to have a theme LOL her lovely daughter Sharon had it made for her it was a pity to cut it!

She got some lovely flowers and of course lots and lots of handmade cards and we had  a lovely buffet and we laughed till we cried it was a fab day! needless to say not a lot of crafting went on today. I would like to welcome my new followers thanks for joining me on this insane journey of mine LOL. TFL hugglesssssssssssssssssssssss  Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Sue, I've just done a Sue P!!! I didn't have my specs on and at first glance I thought the glitter pot was a set of dentures! Lol! Did wonder what they had to do with crafts mind!! (Sorry Lynne - & Sharon!) Anyway, I now have my glasses on and it's a fantastic cake, and so is your card. Well done you - you are doing a great job of using up all your snippets. Love and hugs from Christine xx

I like the use of the gingham for the backing of the image. Great cake too. Miss made us a cake for the playground but I think her Len scoffed it all!! Hugs Mrs A.
