Flutterbye

Hi all you wonderful peeps! Hope you are all safe and well. Football is on tv today so I disappeared into my craft room and had a play. I was actually trying to do a bit of a CAS card but not sure if this qualifies lol but I didn't use much. I got this embossing folder as a freebie in a magazine, the sentiment is from Creative Expressions and I had a piece of vellum in my 'to use box' so I embossed this huge butterfly stamp I have and which I love and a few liquid pearls and some distress inks and that was it! So I am going over to play with Mrs A's new butterfly challenge and Di's fab playground..the keys to which can be found on the side of my blog:) Ooops and I was lucky enough to be asked to joined Sister Act Challenge Design Team!!! so I was really chuffed about that:) Now I'm off to tidy up the mess I've made and get my things ready for my crafty Monday with my friends. Will visit your fab blogs later TFL and lots of hugglesssssssssssss Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxx

This is wonderful Sue. I've never embossed vellum and it looks fabulous!! Lovely sentiment too. I too have several piggin' pigs, not to mention a dresser full of others. I haven't bought any for years but my Aunt keeps finding them for me. We've never had real pigs though, probably because I could never eat them!! xx

Wow, This doesn't meet CAS to me! It is elegant, rich, gorgeous and oh my--- That vellum embossed b/fly is simply stunning. Love his pearl necklace too! Liked the EF (gosh you folks manage to get THE BEST freebies from your magazines!) and the ink smudging you added to the pink. Great card, and lovely to see you in the Snippet Playground.Just had a re-look, and see that Mr. Gorgeous also had some pearls for his 'earrings' on the antennae too. So very pretty, Sue. TFS & Hugs

So very, very pretty fantastic card and, this doesn't happen very often, as those that have been with me for quite a few years know that I have a thing about butterflies on cards but I have to say this is the best I have ever seen.
Go to the top of the class.

Wow! Oh! Wow! Sue, this is stunning.
The butterfly is wonderful, the embossing folder is brilliant and sets it off. The sentiment is great, love it.
Like you I need my phone "just in case" John broke his back in an accident a few years ago. Although he is fine he has taken a few tumbles so you never know!! I let him know I have arrived, call him every other day "from my room" and that's it unless an emergency.
Have a great day
