Lovely Day

Hi all you wonderful peeps! thanks for all your comments about Ollie LOL. Well the weather has been absolutely lovely today I hope it stays that way. You can tell its Easter Monday all the lawn mowers come out  and I could smell a barbeque or two as well. We've had a nice time down at the coast...first sign of water and he's off!! 'his lordship' that is not the hubster. Gorgeous fish and chips and then came back and I've done a bit more gardening..well I say that a bit loosely because all the neighbours were out so we spent time chatting more than gardening LOL cuppa's made and passed over it was really nice:) I made this card for the lovely Mrs A's butterfly challenge (if you want to join in the link is on the left of my blog:) I did have a giggle because I decided to make a butterfly charm out of shrink plastic, I haven't used it for ages but it was fun. I also used some snippets of paper so I'm off to see Di and all the critters in the playground..key to the right of my blog if you want to go over and visit. I will be back later to visit your fab blogs for some reason I commented on a few and then blogger started playing up..so will try again after tea..TFL and lots of hugglessssssssss Sue xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Beautiful papers on your card and it's gorgeous. My dog (now deceased) used to hate water. Wouldn't even get near a kiddie pool. Trembled over a bath. It was rather pitiful.

I am so drooling over this pretty poppy paper. It is gorgeous. Love the colours on your shrink plastic charm. Very inventive to make your own charm. Rained here all day yesterday but dry to day so have been out in the garden. Managed to get some seeds sown before the skies opened up again. Thank you for fluttering by #5. Hugs Mrs A. (butterfly challenge).

What a lovely card Sue, and your shrink plastic butterfly brought back memories of a tortoiseshell butterfly hair slide I had as a child - I hadn't thought about that for 40 years!!!
I'm glad you had a good Easter and lets hope that the good weather lasts.

Your card looks great. I haven't used shrink plastic for ages myself. If only I could remember where I put it "really safe" when the nephews and I did our last tidy up of my crafting stash. Your butterfly has given me the urge to try and hunt it out one of these days.
