'Holidays' with Sweet Stampin Challenge

Hi everyone! It's our weekly 'just for fun' challenge over at Sweet Stampin and the theme is 'holidays' This Sassy Cheryl image reminded me of the 'pretend' holidays my big brother and myself had on our lawn...we used a large blanket and Mam's big clothes horse she made us jam sandwiches and a bottle of lemonade! It was so much fun...ohhh how I wish for those care free days back again. So come on pop over and join in the fun!!
Paul is finally home...he had his chest re-opened again and the wires removed from his ribs and was on a drip for 24 hours a day with blood thinning meds in as a clot had found it's way into his pump. Fingers crossed that's it apart from check ups because it wasn't easy doing over 100 mile round trip just to drop off clean things and pick up the laundry unable to see him....but I understand why it had to be done. Ollie is doing okay..he still has his 'cone' on and they have managed to save his leg and both his tummy and leg are healing nicely.
Well sorry to waffle on..I hope you and your loved ones are all well and lots of hugglessssss to you all xxxxxxxxxxx Sue xxxxxx

What a gorgeous card Sue. My Sister and I used to do the same when we were small until my sister got her finger trapped when the wooden clothes horse collapsed!! So pleased to hear that the men in your life are on the road to recovery and I hope you are doing ok too. Sending love xx

Such a fun card and yes roll back the years to playing tents with Mum's wooden clothes horse. When we got married I asked For Mums old Woden ironing board (they were bought as a set) and I am still using it to this day. Must be at least 75 yrs old now! Is that a record ?
Hugs Mrs A.

Adorable card, Sue. Brings back memories of when we were allowed to camp in the back garden as children and the back door was left unlocked in case we needed to come in during the night. How times have changed! Glad that Paul and Ollie are recovering well. xx
