Batten Down The Hatches

Well Storm Dudley has finally arrived! It's been so windy since later on this afternoon but it's calmed down at the moment so I'm hoping that's all we are getting. I feel sorry for the ones that might be having a really bad time of it...and then Storm Eunice is following! sheesh as if we haven't had enough storms this year so far.

Anyhoooo this is the card I made for the very nice gentleman at our car dealership that dealt with us buying our new car. I love these LOTV images they have so many that are just right for the job! The car is really lovely and smells divine! I bought a new boot cover and it's great covers every bit of it so the dogs can make a mess but it's easily removed and washed.

I hope everyone is safe and well and do take care if your in line of the storms! lots of huggles xxxxxxxxxxx Sue xxxxxxxxxx

Super card Sue. You cannot go wrong with LOTV can you? The wind is really high at the moment. We are pretty high and very exposed so we really do get battered by the wind. Keeping fingers crossed - and also for Storm Eunice which is threatened to be far worse. I hate wind - so destructive! Hope you and Paul are both well. Hugs Christine xx

Gorgeous card Sue, oh I love a new car smell.
The storm is on and off here too, blowing a gale one minute but it's supposed to whip up to nite, can actually feel the sea pummel on the shore, scary stuff. Stay safe. Xx

Hi Sue, love these LOTV boys and this is a great image and design.
We are fine just now, our weather is to be bad over the weekend with snow. You take care and keep safe, Kate x

It's quite windy here too- but nothing compared to what's expected further north with the first storm anyway! Keep yourselves safe until it's over.
It's a beautiful card and you're so thoughtful Sue, bet the car salesman was quite overcome, they problaby don't get many thankyou cards- especially not individually hand crafted ones! Enjoy your new car- and yes- fitted bootliners are a definite boon when you have wet, muddy dogs as passengers!
Take care and keep safe

It's blowing a hoolie here too Sue and I don't like it!! Worse for Friday, I believe. Love that card and I bet the fella that received it did too. You are kind, what a thoughtful thing to do for him xx

A perfect card for the salesman Sue. Love the image and design. Hubby always says there is nothing like the new smell of a car. We are being pounded by "Dudley" atm, the sound of the wind is truly awful and frightening waiting for something to happen and we are not even supposed to be in it? Goodness knows how you are all coping.
Keep safe.

Hi Sue me wonderful little blogging friend.
Yes fairly windy here also in my part of Kent yesterday was worse though.
Just hope the coming storm doesn't do any damage for anyone especially my rooves of my sheds. My bungalow is staggered and I have a fishing lake just over my back fence it used to be a place they got mud from to make bricks as there was a brick works there many, many years ago.
So the wind does really howl around the back of the bungalow and I sleep in the back bedroom too as my craft room is in the front bedroom.

Love your wonderful card and that LOTV image is fabulous and wonderfully coloured my pearly dots queen.
You know you stamped me lots of your lovely LOTV images well they were to samll for my bad eyes to colour so I hope you don't mind I gave them to Sarah.
Lots of sloppies for Olliebobs and Woody.
Lots of crafty love and hugs. Fairy Godmother Jenny L.
