Playing Dress Up

This Mo's Digital Pencil image reminds me of when I used to put my Mam's high heels on and I always got a new outfit for church on Easter Sunday with a new bonnet LOL....I thought I was the bee's knees! with my little white gloves and carrying the most beautiful prayer book my Godmother bought me. It's funny how certain images take you back to when you were younger...and then of course my own Daughter used to walk around in my stilettos too... I couldn't walk in them now though but I used to dance the night away in them.

I couldn't believe my eyes when we went to the drop off point for Ukraine ...the generosity of people overwhelms you and there was mountains of supplies and that's just one I think there are hundreds around the UK. I just pray the suffering of these poor people ends soon.

Thanks for all your lovely comments on my previous post ....take care stay safe and lots of huggles xxxxxxx Sue xxxxxxxxxx

Aww Sue, I absolutely love this- one of my very favourite Mo images- I've used this one so many times and always enjoy colouring it. Your lovely design and colouring does it proud and, agreeing with the other comments, it does invoke some happy childhood memories.
It's good to know that the whole of the rest of the world is in support of Ukraine and the suffering of those innocent people and doing their best to help in any small way they can. I just hope and pray that this madness ends soon- too much loss of life and devastation already, it's totally senseless.

So proud that we are trying to help these poor people trapped in a war zone, if our prayers are answered it will be over very soon.xx

And another fabulous card, Sue! I can't decide if I like this one or the LOTV one more now! I absolutely adore Mo's images - they are just perfect.
I think I must be at the tail end of people who got new clothes for Easter - there were no choc Easter eggs in our house, we got a new dress, but no Church going as not a religious family. Don't know of anyone now who gets a new outfit - it's all ginormous Easter eggs instead!

Glad to hear how much was being donated for Ukraine - but horrible that has to be like this. I just don't understand people at all, why would you want to bomb a maternity hospital, on top of all the other atrocities? It's cruel and senseless. I find myself unable to watch much news at the minute.

And with that, I'm off to hide in my craft room.
