Snowman Family

Thanks so much to everyone who left a lovely comment on my Halloween card below..it means so much to me it really does. My card today is just to add to my growing stash lol ...I love this Penny Black stamp I've had it for year's and I really had forgot about it ..but found it when I was tidying up in my craft room! and I've used the Tim Holtz poinsettia big die and some Nitwit's background paper.

We had 6 new internal doors put on and the painter came today and now they are a lovely pale shade of grey..I love them..I always usually have white but just fancied a change and I'm so happy with them..it's satinwood so just a sheen on them..but 'the boys' weren't happy at not being able to smooch about lol and I can't believe how quick the paint dried too.

The hubster still hasn't heard anything about his op that was cancelled and I think Great Britain must be the laughing stock of the world!! with all these shenanighans going on! It's a disgrace and why would anyone want that buffoon back as PM???? and I'm guessing the worst is yet to come sadly..I can't believe food prices have shot up so much! and petrol and energy bills..even food banks are in a state of crisis...they should hang their heads in shame the lot of them!

Now I'm down off my soap box LOL I shall say stay warm and safe and lots of huggles xxxxxxxxx Sue xxxxxxxxxxxx

What a gorgeous Christmas card Sue! I love that trio of snowman, they are the cutest. The poinsettia is perfect and the plaid paper is beautiful. What collection from Nitwit is this from? Love it! I know what you mean, our country is an embarrassment as well. We have loads of shenanigan's going on as well. I keep saying we have went to hell in a handbasket, it's so bad. Yes, the price of everything is unreal! I only grocery shop for one, and I can't believe how much I had to spend. Gas is awful as is heating oil. I wonder how long people can keep up with these prices?! I guess we'd better pray for this world because things are really out of hand. Hugs and prayers, Brenda

Oh Sue I absolutely adore this beautiful festive make I love, love that stamp and the Poinsettia as well as your colour choice, super make, I agree with everything you say Sue they are like a load of undisciplined kids instead of arguing they should put their heads together and get us out of this mess that they got us into

Such a sweet stamp Sue, love these cute snowman! Lovely design in the icy blues!
I can't quite believe what's going on here at present, it's like some kind of not-funny-farce! The government is a complete shambles and should be ashamed of the state our country is in. I feel so sorry for those with families to house, feed and clothe and can only hope that matters improve rapidly! As for the NHS it needs a complete overhaul- preferably by practical people with common sense and brains, not money chucked at it by a bunch of clowns who clearly have absolutely no idea!
xx

I love, love, love your sweet snowmen with the fab poinsettia and beautiful colours Sue. There is just one comment from me, of the situation, apart from the problems being Worldwide. I hope that the NHS is not given more billions to waste, as I saw while working within the NHS for 20 years. A new culture of working practices needs to happen instead. I'm now off my soapbox too.
Hope your both OK.

Ho what a wonderfully sweet card Sue, lovely snow family, beautifully designed.
I hope Paul hears soon about his op.
I do agree with all you've said., but the thing to remember is that the Tory party care nothing for the common people, and why some working class folks voted for them is outwith my comprehension. I'm afraid a PM who's wealth is over 700 million with a wife that's a billionaire can possibly understand the fear that the majority of people have about how we are going to manage to live, well that's just nonsense. I have my doubts that the triple lock will be put back in place for pensioners, I hope I'm wrong. The country is down the tubes, take care, Kate x

Hi Sue, thanks for letting me know what collection this paper was from. I just wanted to see if I had this collection. No, you don't have to send to me, but I sure appreciate the offer!!! Hugs, Brenda

What a gorgeous card Sue, cute snowmen, glitter and snowy blobs!! Sorry Paul hasn't heard anything, honestly it's shocking. Well, let's face it everything is shocking not just the NHS. It's almost scary to go shopping because the prices get higher every week. Our youngest and his partner bought a house in the spring so goodness knows how long they will manage once their "fixed rate" mortgage needs renewing. Honestly it's such a worry xx
