Quiet Day

We've been having a really nice relaxing day for a change! I took Ollie out for a lovely walk this morning and the sun was shining but it's disappeared now and it's a bit windy.

I've put a beef casserole in the oven for tea and then I've been chilling in my craft room doing this card. It's a Mo's Digital Pencil image..not sure if it's on sale because it's part of her Patreon group in which you pay a monthly fee and you get lots of images and papers. Die cut flowers and leaves and a lovely frame and that's about it. Ollie pulled his bed into my craft room and has been keeping me company lol I think he's keeping an eye on us in case we go missing again!

We had some wonderful news yesterday our Daughter is having a baby! They have been wanting a brother or sister for our Granddaughter for ages and it's finally happened! Well take care hope you are all having a fabulous day...lots of huggles xxxxxx Sue xxxxxxx

Such a fun and pretty card Sue! I love the image and the way you colored it. Those flowers are so pretty too, love the papers you used on them as well as that background plaid. The sentiment is perfect as well. Congrats to you all, a new baby is so fun and what a blessing too!!! You said I made you chuckle about 50 being cold. 50 isn't cold for us, it is just cool for this time of year. Usually Sept is in the 70's and low 80's for us, but this year, we are way cooler than normal. Winter brings very cold temps here. We are usually in the 20's and lower 30's, but have reached negative digit many times. So yes, 50 isn't cold, but it is cool for this time of the year. LOL Huggles and congrats to all on the new baby that is coming!!! Brenda

Hi Sue me wonderful little blogging friend.
Great news about your Daughter.
Love the gnome iage it's such a fabulous image just what you would expect from Mo.
Great paper used as well as it goes brilliantly with that image.
Very beautiful flowers also and the colours are gorgeous.
My son had to have one of his dogs put to sleep yesterday his brother Oreo is going to miss him such a sad day but I expect you have been through it with Woody.
Lots of sloppies for Olliebobs.
Good old Ollie keeping you company in your craft room.
I looked after my Granddaughter's dog Buster in August while they were away on holiday.
He is such a good dog and never barks at anyone coming to the door.
My Daughter looks after him at night and walks him as I can't.
Lots of crafty love and hugs Fairy Godmother Jenny L.

Aww Sue, that's brilliant news, I'm so delighted for you(and your daughter of course)! I think I'm a little bit jealous too- a new grandchild to cuddle and spoil, how exciting.
Your card is beautiful, so bright and lovely, the fab gnome is beautifully coloured.
Ollie is obviously so happy you're home. :))
