Embossed Lily

Hi everyone! Think I'm into embossing things at the minute! I got this 3D embossing folder from Lisa Horton Crafts and just had a play with it tonight and put some gold gliding wax over...haven't put a sentiment on yet though.

Well I hate these dark nights it's so depressing but we have had lovely sunshine yesterday and today but according to the weather report it's raining and windy from tomorrow. We spent the weekend with our Daughter, Son-in-law and Granddaughter shopping and having a meal out. We always buy her winter coat and boots and it's our eldest Grandson's birthday on Thursday so we got his pressie and a few Christmas one's too. Then we went for a meal and did the food shopping ....I can't believe our food bill!!! it has shot up and we didn't get that much either because there's only two of us...it's really worrying with all these price hikes and energy bills going up the whole country is affected it's shocking.

Anyhooooo take care...stay warm and lots of huggles xxxxx Sue xxxxxxxxx

Wow, that's so elegant and gorgeous Sue, what a fabulous embossing folder!
I know exactly what you mean about the food shopping bills- how can it cost so much to feed two people? Must be a total nightmare for families with growing kids to feed!! xxx

Absolutely stunning Sue I wouldn't want to cover up the beautifully gilded embossing,a card suitable for so many occasions.

So stunning and very, very elegant! Beautiful card.
I think the prices have gone up on everything and everywhere. So awful! Very smart of you to start some Christmas shopping.

What a gorgeous card Sue, beautifully embossed and gilded.
A very worrying time indeed, and it's going to be a long time before it gets any better, makes Independance for Scotland so necessary for me, to get away from this vile Westminster Government. I fear for those with young family, elderly folk and disabled, but really everyone is suffering unless you're really rich. Take card Kate x

This is so striking and elegant, Sue! It looks like a gold lily sculpture. I have to get some of that gilding wax, which I'm seeing around Blogland with the 3D folders. I have lots of those on NBUS Mountain ~ now off to shop for wax! Speaking of shopping, your outing sounds both super fun and very productive. Even buying some Chrissie prezints! Well done! Hugs, Darnell

Well, I agree with what everyone has said - this is so striking and elegant, Sue. The gilding wax gives that fabulous flower such a pretty glow and it seems a shame to hide any of it with a sentiment.
Glad you enjoyed your family shopping trip and I agree with you about the prices - they go up every time I visit the shops!
Have a good weekend.

Take care,
Carol x
